Renewables Energy Localisation and Industrialisation Programme (RELIP) - Nigeria

In partnership with the Rural Electrification Agency, Mente Energy is delivering RELIP - a national programme to transform Nigeria’s renewable energy sector into a fully structured, investment-ready industrial ecosystem. The programme builds the supply chains, demand signals and institutional frameworks needed to anchor domestic manufacturing of solar modules, batteries and inverters - creating factories, skilled jobs and long-term industrial growth on Nigerian soil.

- Agro-Industrial Platform Concession - West Africa

Mente Energy is structuring two long-term PPP concessions for agro-industrial platforms in West Africa. The platforms integrate clean energy, agro-processing, productive estates and industrial infrastructure financed through a blend of finance from multilateral development banks alongside private equity.

Productive-Use Finance Platform - West Africa

A pilot programme deploying electric mobility and solar-powered cold storage in a rural West African market town - in partnership with a local bank. The platform integrates asset finance, productive-use energy and last-mile distribution supported by an international innovation grant.

ESG & Energy Transition Advisory - Leading African Governance Institution

With C&I organisations across Africa increasingly seeking alternatives to grid dependency and conventional fuel supply, Mente Energy was commissioned by a prominent African governance institution to deliver an integrated ESG strategy, energy audit and policy framework.

The energy audit mapped current consumption, identified cost-reduction opportunities and produced a board-ready transition roadmap. The broader scope covered a full ESG audit, materiality assessment, stakeholder mapping and a capacity-building programme for board members and senior staff aligned to GRI, ISSB and UN Global Compact standards. Waste-to-Energy Platform - West Africa

Mente Energy has been engaged to support the development and scaling of a waste-to-energy facility in a major West African industrial zone. The project converts municipal and industrial waste into baseload power for industrial offtakers under a long-term Energy-as-a-Service model.
