We originated it and we lead it, under a partnership with the Rural Electrification Agency signed in April 2026. It catalyses a set of manufacturing companies and builds the supply chains, the demand and the institutional framework that make factories here viable.

Clean energy equipment is useless if nobody can afford it. Most of Africa’s economy is informal — traders, drivers, farmers, small workshops. They are creditworthy and they are enormous in number, but they have no payslip, no filed accounts and no credit file, so conventional lenders can’t see them.
This platform lends to them anyway, through a regulated lending platform, and underwrites on what they actually do: takings, usage data, repayment behaviour, the performance of the asset itself. Machine learning turns that into a credit decision that a traditional scorecard can’t make.
It finances electric three-wheelers, solar freezers and solar home systems. Some of that equipment comes from our own manufacturing platform, some from the other manufacturers we work with. Either way, making it affordable is what turns available supply into actual sales.
